the fabulous life of...

...french girls. they eat cheese, they smoke, they drink, and they're fabulous. lucky! i do all of these things but it's not the same. i doubt if i have the effortless dexterity to pull it off, i'm far too scruffy and loud.

...from the resort 2010 ready-to-wear collection by marc jacobs. this dress caught my eye because it reminds me of the dress julia roberts wears as vivian in pretty woman. you know the one i mean. the one she wears to the polo match where she tells that nosy woman "oh i'm not trying to land him, i'm just using him for sex".

so anyways, here's the marc jacobs number coming in at an unknown price (so i'm guessing it's expensive)

i've really never liked clogs, every season they repeatedly rear their ugly heads. my (male) dentist wears them therefore putting me off for years and years. cos i hate going to the dentist and clogs invariably remind me of my bi-annual trip to the tooth doctor. but this time i'm convinced! i've just bought a really nice cream dress in lace from new look and i can't stop thinking about buying a pair of clogs to go with it! they're a timeless shoe style (once you've practiced walking in them anyways!) and i think we could all make room in our wardrobes for a pair. they're gnarley and i like the idea of making a racket when i walk in to a room. ok, driving test on friday, so if i pass i'm getting some to treat myself. hmmm...i'd better pass. cos they're soooo pretties. but that's just my opinion...x

me, my sister (laura) and best friend (sam) have been obsessing over this advert all weekend. we were in manchester for sam's hen weekend, woohoo! and this advert kept appearing on channel 4 as if it was the official sponsor of the weekend! that and penis shaped pasta and willy straws of course.

so...yea. james franco. the new hot guy in my life. the new hot guy of the year. but that's just my opinion...x

i think the style in this shoot is really creative and i wish hannah all the best of luck. but the real point of this blog entry was to champion my beautiful friend jessica who is the model in these pictures and who i love with all my stupid big heart! she won't mind me saying this but she's one of those true friends who i might not talk to as often as i'd like but when i need her she's there and it's just like old times. ahhhh. move back to stoke soon dude!
