kristen stewart come out, come out, wherever you are

now that 'new moon' mania has subsided i think it's about time we looked beyond bella swan and into the wardrobe of kristen stewart. she continues to surprise me with her approach to fashion, points for her rock chick efforts, but sometimes she just looks so damn boring (and bored but that's for someone else to talk about). she often dresses older than her age, reminding me of a cast member of desperate housewives rather than the leading lady of a massively successful teenie-saga. however i'm prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt as she's still young (like, 12 or something) so maybe she's not found her personal style yet. i like her dedication to casual-wear, why the hell should she dress like lady gaga to go food shopping? and she wears skinny jeans reeeally well because of her teeny-tiny waist. but she never looks very comfortable when she's dressed up, especially when she's wearing heels but i guess that will come eventually, that's if she stops wearing those hideous pointy stiletto things. always has great hair though. but that's just my opinion...x

welcome to kurtcouture...

...a blog that combines grunge and fashion. simples. i'm 22 years and 10 months old, born and raised in stoke-on-trent, england. i have a degree in fashion marketing and communication and throughout the various -and numerous- phases of my life one passion has remained: my love and adoration of the late kurt cobain and the impact he unwittingly had on the music and fashion world. so here i propose to dedicate a yet unknown amount of time to seeking out grungey influences in fashion and design, with the odd kurt reference along the way. after all, and stop me if you think that you've heard this one before, his influence has created one of the most important fashion movements of all time. but that's just my opinion...x
